Installing licenses on clients

License installation on the clients is handled by the JewelSuite Licensing Wizard.

The Licensing Wizard allows you to install a new license or update an expired one. The first time JewelSuite is opened, the License Wizard will run. You can also open the License Wizard from the Start menu. You will need to have your license information to hand before proceeding.

The JewelSuite licensing configuration is a user based setting, therefor these steps will have to be performed for all users on the local system in case multiple users wants to use the software on a single machine.

  1. On the first panel of the Licensing Wizard, click Next > to proceed to the Import License panel.

  2. Select Use a JewelSuite floating license server and click Next >.

  3. Enter the Server and Port number as configured by your IT department and click Next >.

  4. Click Finish to complete the license activation process.

License configuration is complete; you can now start the JewelSuite software.
